New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) seeks to appoint a Program Coordinator reporting to the Assistant Director, Innovations Program.

 

The Program Coordinator will work directly with the Assistant Director of Programs and Program Specialist in delivering startAD programs from inception to execution. This role is responsible for the design, development, operations and execution of various startAD incubation and acceleration programs for various stages of entrepreneurs including students, local startups and global startup/scale ups. This role is further responsible in successfully scouting and interviewing participants and startups for the various programs using a systematic process and criteria for selection. This candidate is further responsible for communicating the mission and increasing awareness of startAD programs with internal and external stakeholders including corporate partners and sponsors. The candidate is expected to handle certain program elements including sourcing startups, coordinating with startup coaches, trainers and mentors and ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of the program including procurement, finance and event support.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Program Specialists in planning and executing events and programs under the startAD banner, including creating event pages, space management, IT support, catering and transportation arrangements, setup requirements and tracking audience attendance for reporting purposes
  • Manage day to day operations of incubation and accelerations programs including administrative, financial and logistics needs of participating startup companies
  • Develop relationships with mentors, coaches and trainers and other organizations to provide quality services to Program participants
  • Support in preparation of various reports related to the KPIs and metrics of startAD programs
  • Prepare post-program reports with evaluation of programs and statistics on program participants
  • Responsible for managing basic financial tasks including raising requisitions on e-Pro, processing invoices and reimbursements

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelors Degree

Required Experience:

  • 2+ years’ experience in entrepreneurship and innovation
  • Strong organizational skills, research skills and presentation skills
  • Startup/Entrepreneurship knowledge
