New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) seeks to appoint an Operations Assistant, startAD reporting to the Business Support Manager.

 

The Operations Assistant will work closely with the Senior Associate Director and Business Support Manager to support the day-to-day operations and logistical needs of startAD. This role will focus on the general administrative needs of startAD, coordinating program event logistics, managing operational workflows, and supporting financial processes. The Operations Assistant will be responsible for ensuring smooth execution of events, coordinating resources, and optimizing internal processes to support the team’s initiatives. This position requires an operational mindset, high level attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring efficient delivery of program events.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the daily operations of startAD, including monitoring startAD spaces and resources, managing supplies, and ensuring the smooth execution of day-to-day activities
  • Assist with the planning and execution of program events/workshops hosted by startAD, including managing logistics such as venue set up, AV requirements and catering arrangements
  • Provide Administrative support to startAD team members such as managing startAD calendars, preparation of correspondence, coordinating travel, and taking meeting minutes when needed
  • Support budget management by processing requisitions, raising invoices and tracking expenses
  • Work closely with startAD team members and other NYUAD departments to receive all operational and process updates to ensure that operations align with institutional policies
  • Regularly update and maintain startAD's CRM system to track program data, contacts, and other relevant data to ensure accurate and current information at all times

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelors Degree in related field

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar or related field
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Arabic speaker
