New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) seeks to appoint a Kawader Program Coordinator reporting to Assistant Director for National Research Capacity Building and Research Programs.
The Kawader Program Coordinator is the primary liaison for staff, researchers, and faculty, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to program policies and activities. This role involves preparing and delivering presentations to share information effectively.
Key responsibilities include involvement in the recruitment process, from screening applications to scheduling interviews, and acting as the first point of contact for potential applicants. The coordinator will manage the recruitment master-sheet, ensuring transparency and efficiency. The role also involves drafting and reviewing correspondence, presentations, and reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to guidelines. The coordinator will maintain comprehensive spreadsheets and manage individual and departmental calendars, coordinating logistical arrangements and meetings.
In budget monitoring and reporting, the coordinator will track the Kawader budget, in particular the OTPS expenditures and review expenses and invoices. Additional duties include updating and maintaining Kawader web pages, designing promotional materials, and performing general office support tasks such as photocopying, form processing, and managing mail distribution. The coordinator will assist in prioritizing office activities, delegate responsibilities to interns, and monitor their progress.
