New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) seeks to appoint an Accreditation and Program Development Manager reporting to the Senior Director, Accreditation and Curricular Affairs.

 

This position oversees new program development, curricular changes, stakeholder management, and (re)licensing and (re)accreditation efforts for existing and new programs at NYU Abu Dhabi, both locally and internationally.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage local and international accreditation requirements (CAA, ADEK, ABET, NASAD, NYSED, MSCHE)
  • Manage new program proposals and substantive change submissions to internal committees and regulatory authorities
  • Employ a data-driven approach to program development and review processes
  • Promotes and supports the culture of critical self-evaluation and continuous quality improvement within academic programs and divisions, supporting and continuing to develop the framework of administrative support for programmatic and institutional quality assurance and Program Self-Evaluation for Accreditation
  • Lead accreditation self-study coordination, visits, and follow-ups; maintaining appropriate internal processes and program documentation
  • Liaise with government partners and external accreditors on key processes and submissions; maintain positive relationships with government stakeholders
  • Works cooperatively with the Institutional Research and Analytics team to develop appropriate benchmarks with which to compare quality assurance measures
  • Track and interpret evolving frameworks and advise on policy implications; keep abreast of trends in AI as they relate to accreditation requirements and processes
  • Develop dashboards and tools with IR to facilitate seamless reporting of KPIs as requested by the CAA, ADEK, and MOHESR
  • Attend professional development training sponsored by the above departments and others to ensure the current practices are aligned with institutional and external needs, goals, and requirements
  • Collaborate with the Manager, Assessment and Curricular Review on all aspects of accreditation and assessment
  • Perform other tasks as required

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Education:

  • Master’s Degree

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in higher education
  • Excellent writing, strong interpersonal skills, facility with appropriate software, MS Office, Survey software, data analysis, ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders

Preferred Experience:

  • 5+ years of accreditation, program development, and/or curriculum management experience 
  • Arabic proficiency
