Strategy Support Coordinator - Strategy and Partner Relations

New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) seeks to appoint a Strategy Support Coordinator reporting to Associate Director, Strategy and Partner Relations. 

Under the direction of the supervisor, the Strategy Support Coordinator ensures that multiple cross-functional teams meet timelines and deliverables effectively and efficiently. This role is responsible for maintaining clean data sources, producing insightful reports and dashboards, and supporting the administrative needs of the team. Additionally, the Strategy Support Coordinator will communicate with stakeholders and report on activities. The role involves outreach to external parties, consultants, and stakeholders for scheduling, programming, and project tracking purposes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, eager to learn, and has a foundational understanding of data visualization and analysis, particularly using Tableau.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Maintaining and updating organized records of reports, projects, and administrative tasks to ensure efficient workflows. This role involves overseeing internal project coordination, ensuring proper documentation, and facilitating seamless access to key information through effective organization of shared drives and project management tools. Additionally, the position requires coordinating meeting schedules, ensuring stakeholders are informed and prepared, and supporting overall administrative efficiency within the office
• Assist in  developing, maintaining, and producing reports and dashboards using Tableau or other data visualization tools. Assist in analyzing data to provide actionable insights that support business decisions and collaborate with team members to understand their reporting needs, ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely reports
• Conduct preliminary quantitative and qualitative analysis and ensure integrity of data and consistency in reporting methodology in documents developed for internal leadership and government partner
• Liaise among consultants, administrative services professionals, and technical/support teams to keep lines of communication open and ensure meaningful collaboration. Researches, solicits, retains, schedules, and coordinates contractors and other external resources
• Collect and analyze a variety of data and information. In collaboration with others, performs statistical analysis and summarizes findings in applicable reports or other communication mediums. Initiates project-related communication and requests for information and provides guidance to other departments, and/or outside agencies at the direction of supervisors. Coordinate communications and support management efforts as assigned
• Collaborate with the team to coordinate internal and external meetings, locations, facilities, etc
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Communication, Public Policy, Finance or a related field

Required Experience: 

• 1+ years of professional experience in a related field
• Professional experience in a university environment
• Desire to learn and develop skills in data analysis and visualization
• Familiarity with Tableau or a willingness to learn it
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Be able to strictly follow data privacy and security procedures for data handling and analysis to ensure adherence to legal and institutional standards
• Project management skills

Preferred Experience: 

• 1+ years experience in developing and executing strategic and/or operational plans
• Experience in developing and executing communications plans
• Experience working with project teams
• Data analysis and visualization skills
• Academic projects or coursework related to data management and analysis
• Basic knowledge of other data visualization tools and techniques
• Familiarity with database management and SQL
• Arabic Language
