    New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) seeks to appoint an Administrative Coordinator reporting to the Manager, Research Appointments.


    The Administration Assistant will be appointed to assist the Manager, Research Appointments in all administrative tasks related to research appointments in NYUAD.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Organize and maintain personal folders  in the network drive according to set standards (naming convention, folder order)
    • Maintain an up to date hiring tracking sheet
    • Commence and gather relevant documents to process background and reference checks for candidates
    • Keep HRMS system up to date
    • Distribute acceptance emails to all the interested parties
    • Prepare and send orientation schedule to the candidate and those concerned
    • Arrange Name badges for all researchers prior to their start date
    • Initiate contract renewals in time
    • Assist in drafting offer and renewal letters, promotion letters, VS letters etc
    • Assist in any other adhoc requirements, as required
    • Assist faculty in Advertising positions on Interfolio
    • Establish and maintain good relationship with the clients

    • Be the first point of contact for queries


    Required Education:

    • Bachelor degree

    Preferred Education:

    • CIPD certification or similar

    Required Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in administration in HR
    • Good proficiency in business English
    • Be able to work autonomously within the capacity
    • PC literate and reasonable aptitude in MS office applications
    • Knowledge of UAE labor laws
